Recognition of Prior Learning
The procedures and principles regarding horizontal transfer, double major, minor, and inter-institutional credit transfer are determined by the Regulation on the Principles for Transfers, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Recognition of prior learning and course/credit equivalencies are detailed within the undergraduate education and examination regulations of the respective higher education institutions in accordance with this regulation.
