Occupational Profiles of Graduates

This interdisciplinary approach enables graduates to work in fields such as basic biology, medicine, the food industry, and pharmacy. They may also pursue postgraduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels.
Graduates of the program can be employed in both public and private sectors. These institutions and organizations include pharmaceutical companies and institutions engaged in biotechnological research and production, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Agriculture, in vitro fertilization (IVF) centers, hospitals and diagnostic laboratories, hygiene schools, forensic medicine institutions, TÜBİTAK, private research centers, and technoparks.
A significant number of graduates of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics continue their academic and postdoctoral studies, pursue academic careers, and work as academic staff in both national and international universities. Since the language of instruction is English, our graduates are also able to work abroad, including in companies in the United States and European Union countries.
Depending on their institutions and areas of specialization, our graduates can work in various sectors such as research and development (R&D) and project design.
