About the Program



Research in the M.Sc. program in Policy Analytics in Global Issues: At the intersection of Political Science and Industrial Engineering departments, the program aims to understand current problems on a global scale and to create decision support in the solution of these problems. Using the background of the Department of Political Science, the program aims to analyze global problems by focusing on the complex political power relations. In the program, students who develop their knowledge of simulation and probability/statistics through modeling and optimization will have the competence to produce socio-technical solutions to global problems and to use different methods in decision-making processes. Students who graduate from this program will specialize in international migration, political economy, global environmental problems and policies, conflict and political resolution, and will acquire ability to support the decision-making processes of states, civil society and organizations.

Admission Requirements
Undergraduate diploma; being successful in the Abdullah Gül University English Exemption Exam or having a sufficient foreign language score from YDS, YÖKDİL or TOEFL; having a sufficient score from ALES - Equal Weight (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam); being successful in the interview. For international students, meeting the conditions announced by the university.

Graduation Requirements
Graduate Program: To be successful in 7 Courses, Seminars and Ethics courses, to have a GPA of at least 3.00, to complete 120 ECTS credits, to be successful in the thesis study.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates have the opportunity to work in universities and research centers in an academic manner. Moreover, they can work in the public or private sector, in areas related to the objective, scientific policy-making based on data, such as non- governmental organizations ministries and municipalities.
