History
The Architecture Department of AGU, which started its activities on January 12, 2012, admitted its first students in the 2013-2014 academic year. Since then, it has achieved significant success by becoming one of the leading architecture faculties in Turkey and starting its undergraduate education with a quota of 15 students.
According to the 2013 Student Placement results, AGU Architecture, which ranked ninth in the ranking including foundation and state universities and sixth among state universities, graduated its first students in 2018.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Architecture is a profession that provides opportunities to work not only in the design and construction industry, but also in art or technology development sectors with its creative and critical thinking competences. Architects may be employed in public and administrative authorities such as ministries and municipalities, non-governmental organizations and the private sector in architectural design, implementation, project management and development, and publication. Its research areas include design, history and theory, construction technology and materials, and cultural heritage.
