Course Content
|
This course introduces the essential principles of intellectual property rights (IPR) with a particular emphasis on patent systems. It covers national and international patent systems, patentability criteria for invention, and hands-on skills such as patent search and interpretation of patent documents. Students will gain experience in using Turkish, European, and U.S. patent databases, and will learn how to read, analyze, and draft basic components of a patent application, including descriptions and claims.
