Objectives of the Course (1) Developing basic understanding of robot manipulators, and their applications
(2) Providing fundamental background on robot manipulator kinematics, dynamics, and control
(3) Providing fundamental background on robot manipulator dynamics
(4) Providing fundamental background on robot manipulator control
Course Content The course covers the kinematic and dynamic analysis and control of robot manipulators. Topics include rigid motions and homogeneous transformations, a review of linear systems, manipulator kinematics, dynamics, differential kinematics and Jacobian, robot arm trajectory planning, basic feedback control systems for robot arms.
