Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to identify the main principles of drug delivery systems, describe multifunctional polymeric nanocarriers, and explore their properties.
Course Content This course covers multifunctional nanocarriers, their basic properties, and types of nanocarriers. In addition, polymeric nanoparticle preparation methods, controlled polymerization for uniform polymer chains, cross-linked micelle formation mechanism, stimuli-sensitive and drug-conjugated nanosystems, surface modification of nanocarriers, and targeting approaches in nanocarriers will be covered in this course.
Course Methods and Techniques Active learning techniques will be used.
