Objectives of the Course -Evaluate biosafety and ethical issues in biotechnology
-Overview applications of biotechnology in different fields
Course Content Ongoing advances in biotechnology offer opportunities to address global challenges, however, the same technologies may generate safety and security threats like human infections, disturbance of ecological systems. or create security threats. The course will be discussing the potential threats and ethical issues together with measures required to to ensure the safety of biotechnology applications.
