Course Content
|
The course covers computational techniques developed for analyzing large amount of information produced by recent advances in biology. The main topics of the course include biological databases, sequence retrieval, pairwise sequence alignment, multiple sequence alignment approaches, phylogenetic trees, RNA and protein structure predictions, Gene Ontology, gene regulation analysis and biological networks.

Course Methods and Techniques
|
The course will be explained by the faculty member. The topics will be conveyed with presentations, and student participation will be ensured during the course through mutual question-answer, discussion and sample analysis methods. Students will read and analyze individually on the given articles and course materials.
