Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to introduce the field of bionanotechnology, define the structure and design of DNA, describe amino acids and peptides along with their functional roles in biotechnology, and provide an introduction to proteomics.
To learn the amino acids, peptides and their functional use in biotechnology
To introduce proteomics
Course Content In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of nanotechnology, DNA nanotechnology and design; peptide nanotechnology; and protein nanotechnology. Also, they will be familiar with the application of varying nanomaterials in nanotechnology.
Course Methods and Techniques Active learning methods will be used.
