Course Content The course aims to give understanding of sustainability facts and environmental impacts of concrete as the most-widely used material of construction. The course covers environmental impact of Portland cement production, lower binder intensity eco-efficient concrete, life cycle assessment of concrete, concrete with pozzolans, high-volume natural pozzolan concrete, durability of concrete containing pozzolans, concrete with construction and demolition wastes, nanotechnology for eco-efficient concrete.
