Course Content
|
This course covers the basic concepts of vibration, wave propagation in elastic medium, dynamic properties of soils, earthquake, strong ground motions, site response analysis, site-specific analysis of the ground response to earthquakes, compressibility of soils under dynamic loads, liquefaction, liquefaction mitigation techniques, and dynamic bearing capacity of shallow foundations. The course aligns with doctorate level studies by providing an in-depth exploration of soil dynamics and earthquake engineering, equipping students with the analytical skills and practical knowledge to address complex challenges such as site response, liquefaction, and dynamic soil behavior under seismic loads.
