Objectives of the Course Main purpose of this course is to learn preparation and interpretation of the maps especially prepared for the geological disasters and hazards (earthquake, landslide, etc.) that may occur in urban and industrial areas.
Course Content This course covers the reduction of disaster risks and the restructuring of the problems caused by distorted settlement in our cities and the problems of contemporary urban planning and planning principles by using studies and settlement compatibility assessments to prepare hazard identification and risk reduction plans
