Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to explore the impact of digitalization on human rights and discuss the emerging human rights issues that arise with the development of digital technologies. Students will analyze how the concept of human rights has transformed in the postdigital world, where digital technologies have become an inseparable part of social life. The course will also aim to raise students’ awareness of issues such as freedom of expression, privacy, digital inequalities, and digital surveillance on digital platforms.
