Objectives of the Course
|
Principles and methods of conservation course aims to understand the causes of deterioration in historical buildings and to examine the scientific methods to be followed in determining appropriate conservation methods for them.
|

Course Content
|
International principles regarding conservation methods are examined, and in line with these principles, the processes of deciding on proper conservation methods for different deteriorations and problems occurring in historical buildings and the implementation of conservation techniques are compared and discussed. In discussions and reviews, conservation practices in historical buildings are addressed at national and international levels.
