Course Content
|
The course focuses on advanced technologies used in buildings and building construction. For this purpose, first, technology as a general concept and then building and construction technology concepts are discussed through the components, objectives, and tendencies they have. Then, advanced building and construction technologies are examined through the design, construction, use, and end-of-life phases of buildings. Finally, the emerging and innovative technologies as part of the new trends in the building industry are introduced and discussed through readings, case study analysis, research, and discussions based on global and local perspectives.
