Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to explain the fundamentals of color science and the operating principles of various display technologies. Students will gain an understanding of how color is perceived, as well as the technological mechanisms behind different display systems.
Course Content The course aims to present the basic operating principles of the flat panel display technologies in the view of the color science perspective, with a detailed discussion of the underlying photo physical mechanisms in displays.
