Course Content
|
This course intends to develop an experimental or theoretical based research project in an interdisciplinary environment, providing preliminary experience with focus on good scientific principles, value to society, and innovation. Students will undertake either an independent or team based research project under the supervision of a faculty advisor by using fundamental molecular biology and genetics principles, knowledge, and skills that they acquired during their undergraduate program. The project must include methods, results, evaluation, interpretation and discussion of the scientific data. The project will be presented at the end of the semester in a report written by the student.
