Objectives of the Course Teaching the mathematical infrastructure of forecasting.
Providing knowledge of the use of mathematics in business life and economics.
Teaching popular forecasting techniques used in business, economic and social sciences.
Developing students’ mathematical modelling skills, enabling them to make forecasting using related software, and gaining the skills to interpret the predictions correctly.
Course Content The aim of this course is to teach students the construction of mathematical models for problems in business and economics, to introduce forecasting and forecasting methods, and to develop their skills in interpreting the results of estimation analysis. The course aims to develop students’ ability to solve problems they will encounter in the fields of economics and business mathematically and enable them to make effective predictions about real-world events.
