Objectives of the Course	This course teaches micro and nanofabrication techniques in bioengineering and the basic principles of these methods in micro/nanoelectromechanical systems and biomimetic applications.
Course Content	This course covers the topics of introduction to traditional methods in macro and nanofabrication for bioengineering applications, fundamentals of film deposition techniques, optical and electron beam lithography, wet and dry etching methods, applications of micro and nanofabrication to micro and nanoelectromechanical systems, biomimetic approach to nanofabrication.
Course Methods and Techniques	The course is based on a student-centered approach that incorporates in-class activities, group work, homework assignments, mini projects, and technical trips. Various interactive methods such as discussions, peer collaboration, and hands-on applications will be employed. The teaching methodology also includes individual presentations and integration of technology-enhanced learning tools to support critical thinking and practical understanding.
