All lessons are on campus. Most of the students’ time will be spent writing draft paragraphs and summaries, editing drafts in light of instructor feedback. Students are taught how to assess written work against criteria in the assessment rubric using sample texts, peer and own writing. Students are expected to work through the writing production process, for writing both essays and summaries with minimal supervision and are encouraged to seek extra feedback.
