Objectives of the Course Reviewing the basic concepts of financial economics.
Providing foundations for formally discussing selected topics in the field of financial economics.
Applying microeconomic, macroeconomic and applied econometric techniques to study financial markets.
Course Content Course is mainly designed to enable students develop their analysis skills within the framework of financial economics through reading, examining and discussing academic articles in the field of financial economics. Selected topics in financial economics that are related to risk and risk aversion, financial crises, capital allocation decisions, term structure of interest rates, bond yields, financial regulations, interest rate risks, and behavioral finance are included in the course content.
