Objectives of the Course This course will address the complex ethical issues faced by biomedical engineers.
Course Content In general, these include the definition of ethics and morality, conflicts of interest, the protection, benefit, and privacy of patient rights, research misconduct, animal rights, and clinical trials for new medical devices/drugs.
Course Methods and Techniques Lectures, particular talks by prominent scientists, quizzes, articles will be included within the course content.
