Defining fundamentals of medical imaging methodologies and tools.
Examining modern physics, production of x-rays, x-ray interactions, radioactivity,
production of radionuclides, and health physics.
Discovering the field of radiologic technology and its role in health care delivery.

Course Content
|
This course aims at providing a comprehensive overview of all the main diagnostic methods used in radiology and nuclear medicine. It introduces both clinical and technical aspects and covers applications in all major organ systems: brain, heart, abdomen and musculoskeletal. An introduction to ongoing research and new developments in different methods and techniques will be provided.
