Objectives of the Course Identifying foundations of Digital Image Processing (DIP).
Describing common DIP problems.
Introducing recent DIP based Computer Vision advancements. Showing students implementation examples and tools.
Course Content This course introduces the student to several different technologies that are used to view the human body in order to diagnose, monitor, or treat medical conditions. The course will provide a foundational understanding of physical phenomena, mathematical modeling, and algorithms used in medical imaging.
