Objectives of the Course Describing fundamental engineering concepts.
Identifying engineering concepts used in industrial bioprocess applications.
Presenting a basic engineering concept used in the biotech industry.
Course Content In this course, application of basic bioengineering principles to the design and understanding of biological processes will be covered. Fundamental engineering concepts such as materials and energy balances used in bioprocess development and bioreactor design will be provided to bioengineers.
