Course Content
|
In this course, the biomaterials design and fabrication as scaffold for tissue engineering applications will be covered. In the concept of the class, different type of materials, principles and biological pathways to tissue regeneration, host response to biomaterials, and scaffold fabrication techniques will be discussed as topics. The alternative or most appropriate way to design and fabrication of a scaffold for a specific tissue will be taught.
