Objectives of the Course Enabling a comprehensive examination of addictive behaviors, including substance-related and non-substance-related addictions.



Understanding the physiological and psychological effects of various substances and behaviors.



Developing insights into the etiology of addiction and its underlying causes.



Developing effective strategies for the prevention of addictive behaviors.
Course Content This course offers a clear introduction to the key ideas behind both substance-related and behavioral addictions. It looks at different substances and how they affect the body and mind, the factors that increase the risk of addiction, and the psychological, social, and health impacts of addictive behaviors.
