Course Content

Course intends to create a critical point of view concerning Modern Architecture through an evaluation of the relevant design theory and discourse. Concepts, origin and sub-styles/genres distributed over a large geography in the time frame of the 20th century as well as the historic, social, cultural, artistic/aesthetic, political and economic factors that generated Modern Architecture will be comparatively discussed with the aim of illustrating its geographical/regional and periodical plurality/variety.
