Course Content
|
This course focuses on state theories and their implementations into cities and urban politics. The state is of central importance to the economy and society of modern capitalism. Therefore, the first level of theories will be focus on state and power such as pluralist and elite state theory while the second level focuses on the production of urban space and urban politics such as urban regime and growth machine.
