Course Content
|
The course focuses on the environmental performance of buildings by taking into account the architects’ responsibilities for minimizing the adverse effects of the built environment on nature. The constituents of the environmental performance are discussed through global and local perspectives regarding the international and national standards, governmental policies, green building certificates/rating systems, and environmental assessment methods and tools. Detailed research on the environmental performance assessment of the selected cases and interpretations of the assessment results are performed using the environmental assessment methods and tools.
