Objectives of the Course Describing the values and norms of scientific research/scholarship and elements of basic ethical theory.
Recognizing state law and regulations, and university policies, governing the practice of research.
Illustrating practical applications of the principles and standards, state law and regulations, and policy to situations that life scientists may encounter in the conduct of research.
Listing the funding sources in Turkey.
Course Content This course will provide a more formal and structured opportunity to gain familiarity with these values, requirements and professional standards, and also provide students the opportunity to practice applying the standards to research-related situations through discussion of case studies.
