Objectives of the Course 1. Writing comprehensive literature reviews, including identifying relevant sources, critically evaluating existing literature, and synthesizing information to support academic writing.

2. Understanding of academic writing rules and conventions, including proper citation and referencing, structure and organization of academic papers, and adherence to academic integrity principles.

3. Articulating critical thinking and analytical skills through the practice of evaluating and interpreting scholarly literature, and applying evidence-based reasoning in academic writing.

4. Identifying effective communication skills in the academic context, including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and coherently, and to engage in scholarly discourse through written work.
Course Content This course aims to teach students the basic concepts necessary to develop their academic writing skills. Within the scope of the course, students will gain the skills of conducting a literature review, using sources correctly, writing articles and reports in accordance with academic writing rules. In addition, students are provided with opportunities to develop critical thinking and analytical writing skills. This course aims to help students communicate effectively in the academic field.
