Objectives of the Course The objectives of this course as follows:

Identifying key historical figures, events, and theories within the field of psychology.

Displaying understanding of the historical context and cultural influences that shaped the evolution of psychological thought.

Analyzing and comparing various historical perspectives in psychology, evaluating their strengths, weaknesses, and implications for contemporary practice.
Course Content This course primarily serves as an integrative tool, consolidating prior psychological knowledge into a more cohesive conceptual understanding. Because of this, very few courses—if any—can provide as much in the way of a deeper understanding of the foundations of modern psychology as the history of psychology course.
