Objectives of the Course
|
- Explain fundamentals of vibration. - Teach free vibration of single-degree-of-freedom systems. - Teach two-degree-of-freedom systems. - Determination of natural frequencies and mode shapes.

Course Content
|
Fundamentals of vibration and the use of vibration equations in engineering applications are taught. The importance of vibration analysis results in design is gained. In addition, engineering application examples are examined in detail.
