Objectives of the Course 1- Relate the knowledge of molecular biology with variety of molecular biology techniques
2- Compare different molecular biology techniques
3- Develop critical thinking processes and proficiency in scientific reading
4- Develop skills to ask and answer critical questions
Course Content The course includes genetic engineering using various techniques, genome sequence analysis, gene expression analysis, protein analysis, proteomics and recombinant protein production, protein interaction and localization studies in vitro and in vivo. Learning both theoretical and practical knowledge of the molecular biology and genetics methodology will enable the student to acquire the ability to understand and design the projects.
