Objectives of the Course
|
This course provides a comprehensive overview of wireless networks and mobile communications. The topics include network architectures and management, wireless networks, mobile communication technologies, queuing theory, wireless channel models, cellular networks, wireless local area networks, wireless ad hoc networks, packet size optimization, error control techniques. After completing the course, students will get an advanced understanding about wireless networks and mobile communications, and related problem solving discipline using mathematics / engineering principles.
