Objectives of the Course
|
This course intends to teach students the principles of electromechanical energy conversion. Understand the operation principles and analysis techniques of electrical machinery. Develop problem solving experience related to the various electrical machinery.

Course Content

Magnetic circuits, transformers, principles of electromechanical energy conversion, induction machines, synchronous machines, DC machines, permanent magnet and salient machines, finite element analysis basics, transformer design basics, electric machine design basics.
