Objectives of the Course
|
(1) To understand the basics of solid-state electronics (2) To understand the basics of electronic devices such as diodes and transistors, including their operation principles and current-voltage characteristics. (3) To understand the implementations and characteristics of digital electronic circuits based on transistors and diodes. (4) To understand op-amp circuits.

Course Content
|
This course is a part of the Digital System Design Capsule along with Electronics I, Digital Design and Digital Design Lab with HDL. This course provides the laboratory practice in the subject of basics of electronics. The topics include solid-state-electronics, diodes, diode circuits, field-effect transistors, bipolar junction transistors, op-amp circuits, and digital electronic circuits such as inverters, NAND gates, NOR gates, combinational logic gates, and sequential logic gates.
