Department / Program ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
Type of Program Formal Education
Type of Course Unit Compulsory
Course Delivery Method Face To Face
Objectives of the Course (1) To understand the basics of solid-state electronics
(2) To understand the basics of electronic devices such as diodes and transistors, including their operation principles and current-voltage characteristics.
(3) To understand the implementations and characteristics of digital electronic circuits based on transistors and diodes.
(4) To understand op-amp circuits.
Course Content This course is a part of the Electronic System Design Capsule along with Physics II, Calculus II, and Electrical Circuits I Lab. Our aim here is to integrate the knowledge on basic electrical circuits with the contents of calculus and physics while working on a project. The course will start with a basic knowledge of electrical circuits and then continue with operational amplifiers, and RC/RL/RLC circuits.
