Objectives of the Course The objectives of Turkish language courses is stated in the framework program prepared by YÖK as follows:
O1. To be able to make every young person who has completed higher education comprehend the structure and functioning of their native language properly.
O2. To gain the ability to use Turkish correctly and beautifully as a means of written and oral expression in terms of language-thought connection.
O3. It is to make a unifying and integrative language dominant in education and to raise young people who have a consciousness of their native language.
Course Content Turkish Language 102 is one of the common compulsory courses.
Qualities of a good expression. Frequent speech disorders. Sentence proofreading. What is the topic? How is the plan made? Benefits of the plan. Paragraph information. Paragraph writing exercise. Critical reading. Prepared and impromptu speech types. Speech practice. Types of written expression and its practice (reports, petitions, invitations, poster preparation, CV writing) Formal writing samples (examination, criticism, proofreading). Essay writing. Reading, analyzing and interpreting literary and scientific writing samples. Rhetorical practice. Presentations, evaluations, comments, criticisms about the books.
