Objectives of the Course The objectives of Turkish language courses is stated in the framework program prepared by YÖK as follows:
O1. To be able to make every young person who has completed higher education comprehend the structure and functioning of their native language properly.
O2. To gain the ability to use Turkish correctly and beautifully as a means of written and oral expression in terms of language-thought connection.
O3. It is to make a unifying and integrative language dominant in education and to raise young people who have a consciousness of their native language.
Course Content Turkish Language is one of the 101 common compulsory courses.
Language, features and importance of language. Culture, language - culture interest. Historical periods of Turkish with its main lines. The ability of Turkish. Current status and current problems of Turkish. Important phonetic features of Turkish, which phonemes are not shown in the article? Spelling problems, spelling rules and punctuation. Adverbs. Frequent spelling mistakes. How to make a true sentence? Word derivation. Incorrect inflections. The importance of good speech. Speech mistakes, good speech rules. Prepared speeches. Effective presentation preparation techniques. What is the use of composition in academic and daily life? How not to write a composition? Rhetorical applications
