Course Content

This course rejects the study of feminism theory and empirical knowledge
solely on the basis of the West. It is based on the idea that the imperialist and
colonial history of the West creates many forms of women s struggle and
femininity. This course is designed to provide students with an understanding
of the feminist movements of both colonized and non-Western countries.
