Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to examine different models of the welfare state in a comparative perspective, analyzing their historical development, institutional structures, and contemporary challenges. Students will develop a critical understanding of the political, economic, and cultural foundations of social policies.

Course Content
|
The aim of this course is to introduce both the basic social problems faced by societies as well as the social responsibility area as an important field of influence and duty of the state and the policies in this area and to discuss the development of social policy from a historical perspective. Both the general requirements of social policy issues in Turkey, for example, the state s social nature and social policies will be discussed. Current research and study agendas related to social policy will be shown to the students.
