Course Content
|
In the course of Historical Sociology, social structures and daily life will be
discussed by focusing on the concepts of spiritual and material culture. It is aimed to make a critical and interdisciplinary reading of social change and
transformation theories of Turkey and the world from the Middle Ages to the
present day. Through class discussions, students are expected to develop their
own unique ideas, critiques and interpretations of historical sociology and
historical literary analysis.
