Objectives of the Course To develop university-industry cooperation
To enable students to gain experience in solving real world problems of organizations
Course Content This is the first course of a series of four courses designed to improve university-industry collaboration and to enable the students to gain experience in solving real problems of organizations. The students are expected to conduct research to solve a real-world problem in groups under the supervision of the instructor and in collaboration with the experts from the industry. In this context, the students’ survey papers related to the problem, visit the organization to analyze the problem and collect data, construct conceptual and analytical models to solve the problem, develop solution methodologies for the proposed models, and apply the models to the problem.
