Introducing the most recent discussions in the field of microeconomics. Reviewing selected recent research in the area of microeconomics. Analyzing theories and empirical studies that are currently being used by researchers in the field. Showing examples of how microeconomic theories and models are applied by researchers.

Course Content
|
New research areas that have been developed in the last 5-10 years in the field of microeconomics are examined through original research papers and presentations. Aims include introducing current research in the field of microeconomics, forming bridges between the curriculum course contents and current research if possible, forming an understanding of the similarities and differences between classical and new research examples, and deepening economic understandings of students through discussions and examinations of new research.
