Objectives of the Course Introducing key concepts of input-output analysis.
Developing a basis for understanding the structure of input-output models and for working with them.
Developing skills of applying input-output analysis in example cases in the world economy.
Course Content Course is designed to introduce and examine the history and roots of the input-output analysis technique, and interest rate calculations, inflation calculations, efficiency calculations, interrelations among sectors, economic models and international competition in relation to input-output analysis. Among other related economic approaches and concepts, topics such as Leontief model, input-output models at regional level and input-output models at interregional level are included in the course content.
