Objectives of the Course Obtain an awareness of the overt and covert gender bias in behavior.

Develop critical thinking evaluating gender research and gender in daily life.
Understanding on basic concepts and theories of psychology of gender.
Demonstrate an understanding of privilege, oppression, and human rights issues related to gender.
Course Content This course considers the mechanisms through which the concept of gender is constructed, how it leads to gender inequality, how gender inequality is perpetuated and implications of gender in different aspects of our lives.
