Objectives of the Course Identifying chemical and physical properties of polymers.
Examining the physical and chemical characterization methods of polymers.
Describing polymerization process and produciton.
Course Content This course covers general polymer definition and polymer properties; the concepts of conformation, configuration and isomerization; the concept of polymer morphology; thermal properties, molecular weight, mechanical properties; classification of polymers and classification of polymer characterization methods; polymerization processes.
